About
INTERFASE Research Group on Inclusive Governance and Territorial and Coastal-Marine Sustainability is a consolidated research group (SGR) at the Geography Department of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. INTERFASE researchers study socio-environmental changes in space and time and the sustainability of environmental and spatial policies with attention to the interactions between social and ecological systems. The group comprises senior and junior scientists and research technicians working across disciplines including: Global change governance, Urban and regional planning, Coastal governance, Socio-ecological coastal studies, Political geography, Urban geography, Feminist economic geography, Territorial cooperation studies, Environmental law, Landscape ecology and Spatial information technologies. The team is coordinated by two principal investigators: Antònia Casellas and Eduard Ariza.
