On Friday 4 November, the researcher Magdalena Moreno (CIG-IGEHCS/CONICET -Argentina) participated in the 1st session of this 22-23 course of the seminar of the Research Group on Geography and Gender.
She presented her research entitled “La trata de personas cono fines de explotación sexual: configuración espacial en Argentina, 2008-2018”, and described and analysed the spatial configuration of human trafficking for sexual exploitation based on the representations made by state institutions, civil society organisations and the written press. It presented cartographies drawn from the social actors called and reflected on the precariousness of the visible spatial configuration of the phenomenon of trafficking in Argentina.
